Close your eyes. Imagine a county highway about 1/2 hour outside of a small town. The road twists and turns; goes up, goes down and winds around a big hill. You drive about another 1/2 hour and reach a non-descript 4-way flashing amber light. It's hard to decide which way to turn, but you turn anyway. You drive another 1/2 hour down a road where nobody seems to live. Every 15 minutes you pass a massive working farm; perhaps a multi-million dollar farm. (pause for a moment...take a deep breath...can you imagine this drive in the dead of a Canadian winter?) Finally you reach a drive-way to one of these farms. You turn right. The beautiful woman inside sees you turn in. The driveway is so long that she is able to clean her entire house, fix a hot pot of tea, make egg salad sandwiches and apply her makeup to her lovely face before you knock at her door. This is the head office of 'Babylove By Jackie'. Alright. Now open your eyes and see their product line. (I am the proud owner of the orange medallion bloom coffee cozy. Lucky me!) Owner, Designer and Chief Creative Officer is Jackie. As gorgeous as she is talented. I just wanted you to know the future 'Martha Stewart' before she gets too famous.

Sex and The City II Buys from Good Grace !!!

How way cool is this? !!! The propmaster (how do you get a title like this?) just bought something from Good Grace's etsy shop. Good Grace features a handpicked selection of one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly, fashion forward pieces from the 1940's through the 80's. (Mother of three wonderful boys. Closet fashion and design addict. Environmental and political enthusiast.) Let's all keep our fingers crossed and toes too - and apply; just ever so slightly, some pressure on the producers to actually use the item in the big flick. Congrats!

Poppy and Passion

NEW at Liberty Post Industries! (my etsy empire) This is a 16x20 original floral abstract. There's my new red purse for Spring, my morning coffee, my day planner and the wonderful throw my Mother crocheted for me for my office! (all sitting on a 100 year old church bench) Only the painting is for sale silly.

I love the whole Cinderella story thing...except, you know me - I get mad at the 'human rights' issue of this darn fairy tale. I don't like bullies or bosses much! (and I hate the fact that real life StepMoms get a bad rap, unless they truly deserve it.) So, I decided to paint 4 dainty/contemporary/fashionable and cheeky 'Cindy's'. I think they'd be so cute in a girl's bedroom or for a modern woman who is young at heart.

Thank goodness my husband was able to fix that darn antique cash register that we had in the back shed....what?....what are you whispering about? No cash register needed? Why? Oh my gosh, I'm so embarrassed. (oh, he's going to kill me..I bugged the crap out of him to get it ready for this morning...yikes) Please forgive me. I guess I'm not as computer savvy as I thought. Etsy Announcement: Liberty Post Industries Opens May 1st!

Yes, I am so excited! I'm opening up my Etsy shop, Liberty Post Industries.....finally. Can you imagine? I started it in July of 2007....ughh..never posted any items.....well folks, now you will be able to actually shop! (and own a little piece of this mind of mine - yikes!) I will be selling fine art photography prints and cards. (and more goodies to come) It will open on May 1st!.
