The rise of potentialists is driven partially by the economic downturn, which has prompted many to reconsider their priorities. wow -- yes I am, and I like that word...it has sort of a philosopher cross funky band name ring to it.
I think I am definitely favoring a Potentialist path, and I agree that economic downturns do in fact bring us to a new awareness of self, worth, and priorities. As for experiences like Squam Artworkshops, I can only say that after spending a week at SAW, I was also struck by a renewed sense of community. A momentum that should be further explored...

Oh I love that concept! I'm so tired of fatalism, and negativism, and pessimism.. yet you have to be lucid. So potentialism it is!
