NHL Winter Classic
In it's purest form, hockey in Canada is at it's best played outdoors on a snowy frozen pond or in this case, our great friends to the south hosting this amazing game. What could get any better? A good old fashioned hockey game on New Year's Day! And, it's NHL history - a first regular season game played outdoors (I'm watching it right now and it's snowing hard) between the Buffalo Sabres and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Oh, I have an ice crush on Sidney Crosby! I am a Canadian girl through and through.

Oh, I remember the hockey craze when I was in Toronto! I once had lunch at a restaurant which was famous for its hocky memorabilia
:-)
Happy New Year!
