Sunday Sauce: Stout Barbeque Sauce

Here's a delicious BBQ sauce.

Stout BBQ Sauce

2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 diced onion
2 cloves of garlic, sliced
1 1/3 cups bottle tomato puree
1 cup stout beer
1/4 cup fancy molasses
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1 tbsp packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt

Heat oil, add onion and garlic till soft
Add rest and bring to boil
Simmer to reduce to 2 cups
Will take about 1/2 hour
Strain into jar.
Will keep refrigerated for 1 week
