Head on over to Joni's and Linda's for a mind-blowing uncomplicated design experience. Meyers rocks. (Listen and watch Nancy Meyers explain how she creates a scene. Go here to the NY Times Movies section. Soundtrack - fab - details here.) You can read more about the set design online at Traditional Home. Killer movie. I laughed, I cried. (you can watch the trailer here....by the way this website is my Brother's company....I bookmarked it because it's the best place on the whole web to find out what's being released each week!) My date was my 14 year old Son and he even loved it!!! (Years ago...way back in the 70's, - I was known as 'The High Roller' because I could roll the sexiest, neat 'n tidy-designed joints.) By the way...when was the last time you smoked weed?

well, let's see, I was in college for sure - so about 35 years ago????? wow. hehe. ok - secret. In college my nickname was 'the iron lung' - hahahahaha. wonder why? but, after many years and many joints later - it started making me super paranoid and i just quit. well - that's not really why. have you ever done lsd? oy. that will stop anyone from smoking pot!!! it's awwwwfuuulllllll!!!!!!! tmi. thanks for the shout out.
Oh, and in answer to your question - somewhere in the 80's, I guess. And Joni "The Iron Lung" - hah!
Weed makes me completely paranoid too and I am too much of a 'control me' person...it freaks me out!!! You will all laugh hysterically when you see 'It's Complicated'. The weed scene(s) and the sperm scene and the vagina scene! oy...sooooo hilarious! I think I really got it too, being married twice, children etc. and same age! So good. (and the interiors!!!!)
Ahhh...Joni a.k.a. The Iron Lung. I think I can top that. I was known as 'The High Roller': Everyone came to me to 'roll the joints' cause I was so neat and anal about it. (little designed joints) Plus I was the only one who wasn't stoned. This was way back in high school....70's.
bout ten minutes ago. and may i say my word verification is "dentedin." how appropos.
I loved this movie!!
I can't smoke weed either. Although this movie had me thinking about giving it another chance. HA!
Joni: You crack me up!
Saw this movie the other night with the whole family and laughed and laughed - LOVED IT....Loved her house and her shop....GREAT!!!
Yesterday, and it was a wonderful day to read at the beach...
(So glad they included that in scene and topic in the movie...they really handled it well.)
LOVED this movie, hadn't had this much fun in a long time @ the theatre. That house was to die for, I have always dreamt of living in Santa Barbara so gorgeous!
