What Should I Do In Niagara Falls?

Perhaps you've been there before. Maybe you've never been (yet), but you've researched all the top things to do. I'm heading there tomorrow. What should I do there?

Just don't go on the USA side. Niagra on the Lake is fabulous and the Wine Route amazing - Winston Churchill's favourite drive.
I feel as though I am teaching my Grandmother to suck egss :)

The Maid of the Mist (the boat that goes near the falls) is an amazing experience. Just know that you will get wet, flimsy plastic covers and all. And I second Niagara on the Lake.

I say go 'Maid of the Mist' and get wet!! [not that I would know but sounds good to be showered by all that beauty]. Julie

My first thought when I saw your post LP was, beware of barrels! But I see that Linda has already warned you of that....xv

there is a fantastic butterfly garden and conservatory nearby, as well as a really cool buddhist temple on the canadian side. enjoy!

Thank you for all your suggestions. It was a lovely trip. We took a leisurely drive on the Niargara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake and saw all the wineries and amazing homes. The falls were amazing...live indie band concert in the park, fireworks, fudge, yummy ice cream - celebrated my youngest son's 14th Birthday there. Had so much fun. I say: Go there!
