Surprise Surprise. Ruthie had her 'Mittens Kittens' over the weekend. (Hemingway Cats) She had 3! We had a cuddly and secure place in the basement for her to give birth, but alas, she decided my walk-in closet (with the white carpet) was the absolute best place in the house to have them. Currently they are meowing under my bed. That's why I'm up blogging. Everyone is asking me: What do they look like and I reply, 'A cross between Yoda and a Twinkie.'

OMG! You just made my day with theses kittens. When I was in college I befriended and alley cat and one day she brought me in her mouth the best gift of all: her kittens! One by one she went back and brought them to me at my doorstep. So I made them a nest and they were my new roommates. I was so touched that we had developed such a strong friendship and that she trusted me enough to bring me her babies.
PS: I know... I am crazy.
