Imperial Pottery England: Harvest Pattern

I'm hoping someone out there can help me. Our family owns this china set handed down in the Olmsted Family. I can't find a thing online about it, and I consider myself one heck of a researcher. I think it is well over 100 years old. Anyone?

Sorry, in my excitement I forgot to attempt to answer your question.
Have you looked at any transferware sites? It IS transferware, isn't it??

I have seen this pattern. My mother-in-law used to have it, exactly the same. It is very beautiful. Why don't you try getting in touch with http://houseofbeautyandculture.blogspot.com/
He has a shop on Portobello Road in London. He may be able to help.
Good Luck!!

LPE - Imperial Pottery is, or was, one of the Johnson Bros factories in Stoke-on-Trent. Johnson Bros was famous for its earthenware. I'm guessing it circa 1900 to 1910 - as they had a presence in North America from about 1896.

Eventually they became part of Wedgwood (we all know how that ended). It still may be produced overseas. I'm afraid I don't really know anymore than that.

Lovely! My mother-in-law has a set that's been passed through her family as well; she was in a search to find out more about it, and took a piece to a local antiques show (like Antiques Roadshow). There was an appraiser on site who was able to give her the answers she was looking for - hope you are able to do the same!

(PS - a cousin of Ted's lives in Stoke-On-Trent!)
