Kitchen Design Trends

Are irrelevant really. On this day of gratitude and abundant feasts, let's not forget those who aren't as fortunate as we. Those who live in dire poverty and slums. I am filled with hope when I see the sparkle in her eyes. She is smiling as she prepares dinner for her children. It proves once again that the only things that truly matter aren't things at all.

Amen sister. I have a video somewhere that features a Honduran woman baking bread in an outdoor kitchen. She has the most beautiful smile and delightful banter as she works.

We have traveled in some third world countries and I always humbled by people who have nothing in contrast to our abundance. And yet they are very family oriented and happy for anything they have.

What a wonderful, thought provoking post.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends.

Glad I came across this. As a kitchen designer, I just did a post on feeling a bit weird about writing about fabulous kitchens in light of the bad economic times, here now and sure to continue, which will surely impact many people. While this is my life's work, it is important to stop and reevaluate and get a little perspective from time to time. You're right.
