October 14th Snoozefest

So. It was announced this past week that Canada is having national elections. Wake me up when they are over, because believe me, they are so boring, lifeless, uncharismatic, unmagical, uncorrupted, unbelievably quiet and polite - no women involved. No minorities represented. Uh....I didn't even know the date until my Mom told me. Good god Canada. Get a bloody backbone. Seek out some exciting candidates. Spice it up a bit. Get controversial. Do something.

The Prime Minister poses with a cute kitten???? HUH? I bet he doesn't have any tattoos.

P.S. Don't worry, we have enough drama for both countries.

I know! I thought that was so funny with the kitten, but then again, it does show the humility that this country so offers.

I DO NOT want the drama, but what I am looking for in a PM is one who is willing to make the right changes for this country. Doing diddly squat about health care is just one of the many issues that need addressing by a SERIOUS PM.

Consider yourself lucky! We have a self-proclaimed pit bull on the ballot. I'd take a pig (with or without lipstick) any day, since they are supposed to be smart and sweet tempered. Ha!
