My thoughts are with the people of this area tonight. I wish I would get word from my daughter. If you look on the map, Maadi is at the foothills of the rock slide. (bottom right side - directly under the word Cairo - accident was there) I'll be watching her blog for good news.

This is bad but I'm sure she's allright.
Don't worry, this place isn't as close to Maadi as you may think, though it seems so on the map. Technically, Maadi is right next to this place, but residential areas are usually further away south-east. I'm sure she didn't even feel it. btw, I'm from Egypt:)
Keep us posted. I hope you hear from her soon.
