The History of a Designer, Jane Hall

Premiering here today. Jane Hall's visual mosaics that showcase her story; her incredibly creative history. (over 4 decades of talent. whoah.) Jane surprised me with these treasures! I couldn't wait to share them with you. She is also working on some new concepts for her site, so stay tuned. I feel as if I've met Jane before. Years ago. (perhaps in the figure skating world?) You can read more about Jane in this post I wrote or here at her colourful website. Again, I find myself watching the goosebumps on my arms as I type this. Earlier this week I announced my new project 'Hour Cultural Mosaic' and as you know, for the past year, I have considered this blog a Canadian Cultural Mosaic buffet - a bit of this and a touch of that. What strikes me here is the fact that Jane and I are somehow on the exact same wavelength with 'mosaics'. And, I will tell you...I don't mind that at all. I think it rocks. Don't you?

Mosaics, the Roman ones I discovered in Tunisia, at Regia Romana, and fell in love with them. I visited Bardo museum in Tunis and went to different places in Italy, always seeking to sense the happiness I had felt when my eyes first touched them (visit Villa Romana del Casale, in Sicily, a feast!) Jane Hall's ones I discovered and enjoyed here.

Thanks again Liberty Host Editor! I have been working on putting these mosaics together for a year and a half and to date have over a hundred of them which will be launched on my website very soon. It will be called "Whats Your Favorite Colour" and will be an online resource for people who want to infuse colour into their lives. It will also be a resource for some of the products and materials I am inspired by. Watch for the its upcoming launch!!!
