"I agree wholeheartedly. (With this post) The internet is the great leveler. With an hour's time and access to the internet anyone can be a publisher. It's one of the most exciting concepts EVER. I don't think people truly understand the significance of the paradigm shift that has occurred in the last 10 years. Newspaper are certainly feeling the effects, as is magazine formats. They're trying to figure out how they can fit into all this. Blogging is an amazing opportunity. Everyone is writing again. How wonderful. Everyone is reading again. Terrific. But some blogs leave me asking myself, "is that the best we can do?" Where do we draw the lines? Blogging ethics will certainly evolve. As for me, I will apply for the position of blogging poster child."

I agree! I love the fact that my blog entries don't have to be "approved" by someone. I'm free to write the best that I can and enjoy doing it! There are blogs, however, that my mouth pooches to the side at and I think "Huh, 12 years old, are you?". Many bloggers can do better but for those of us that actually try to spell the words right and improve ourselves as writers, it's a wide horizon!
Wow, thanks for the cut & paste! And especially the great photo of the meat because here in northern Illinois we're all about the meat....especially pork.
