Merry Go Fast

Sickening isn't it? I mean, the photo makes you queasy, but I also mean: my mini-vacation is over and I must head up north again. Merry Go Back.

Faking It

How many women around the world are 'faking it' with decorative mantels? Do the men realize this and ultimately, do they even 'really' care?

Meanwhile....

The Egypt Girl is dune diving in the Siwa Oasis desert. Thousands of miles from anything. I am exaggerating, but doesn't it look like that to your Motherly eye? Climbing sand hills and jumping, rolling, laughing all the way back down. This is quite a contrast in experiences within one little family. And yes. That is my actual Daughter in that vehicle. Gosh.

Pacific Circle (The Secret Passageway to 'Cost')

Today was spent going in and out of industrial unit showrooms near the Toronto Airport. As the jets zoomed over head (I swear I could reach up and tickle their tummys), I kept mental and written notes of props and display ideas for future photo shoots. You too can enjoy this West Side Story. You just have to have your own business plus someone (like me) who shares the 'Gallery of Goods' or in other words, the directions and details. Have fun! Cat not included in wholesale price of wreath.

Floral Design Class

I went back to school tonight. Not to be a saucy student (who manages to create enough havoc and clowning to get kicked out of every college course), but rather as a photographer to document the passion, learning, creating, teamwork and budding brilliance. The smell of the room was fresh and green. Hemlock, Incense Cedar, Magnolia Leaves, Boxwood and Juniper; the scent of dirt, rich soil. A longing, deep seeded in me sprouted. (To go back to college.) Back to the studios and late night art project cramming. To bloom or not to bloom. That is the question.
