I am feeling restless, stifled, (choking-creatively-muzzled) working and creating from home. I need a change and I want to find studio/gallery space for the New Year. I want to get up early every day and go 'somewhere?' to work, to dream, to make, to connect, to feel. Does anyone out there know of some hip space available? Do you long to work at home or do you yearn for a studio/atelier of your very own (away from where you sleep)? Tuesday, 24 November, 2009

I wish you well Patti in finding your dream spot for your studio. I understand the need to connect. For me the best part of working at home is the solitude. With the computer I can connect when I want to in a limited way perhaps. It's nice to be able to wear my jammies to work! All the best! Cathy G
I'm afraid if you find a space you have to go out to, you won't have as much time to blog.
But I'm being selfish, so if that's what you want, I hope you find somewhere Patti. x
I wish for such a space too. There is one loft building that offers them near my house, and I'm really thinking of getting one for the next year. Good luck finding one, Patti.
I could clear a space for you in our studio, but Indiana winters are a real bitch!
buena suerte! i do like working at home because there can be such negativity at work but my furkids, laundry, etc often distract. I have always longed for an atelier perhaps i will get o it but even when the furkids get in the way of my work, i remember they are important members and contributors to sealaura industries!
BTW I would love a piece of that pie in your header. delicioso!
