Joni & Kate Plus 8

French Design on TLC. Yes, it does exist! Some news is just so big it needs its own page and when HuffPost has a Liberty Post (a.k.a. Patti Friday) page, then I will know that I have made it. (the coverage they are getting is incredible...we feed the beast, we feed the beast, we feed the beast....) So My Dear Readers, Really. What is your take on this whole saga? I think they should call the new season 'Joni & Kate Plus 8' and have Joni decorate the house. TLC, just add an 'i' to 'jon' , hire that Texas charmer and everything will be o.k.!!! (no seriously, I'm not joking. it will get Kate's mind off Jon and the house will be a whole lot better for the 8 kids.)

Love the idea of "Jon(i) and Kate Plus 8." But would Joni want to be in that house with all the drama? My take on the whole thing (having been an avid follower of the show during it's first two years)...time to stop filming the kids. Kate can go be on another show and Jon can find other ways to sell his soul (maybe there is a need for more pool parties in Vegas). But, get the cameras away from the kids.

First I've heard of this family so had to google it.
I'm a bit of a reality show fan though, so no doubt I would've watched this.
Why am I even commenting ?
Can't offer an opinion.

Thanks for giving me a good laugh! I've never seen the show, but I am so sick of hearing about their every move. Joni would definitely add some sophistication to the situation with her decorating skills...she could probably whip those kids and their parents into shape too.

Here are my two cents. I agree with Jenny, Kate can do whatever other show she wants and provide for her kids, but obviously the gig is up with the other show. I can't see how this is good for the kids. Or how about, investing all the $$$ she has already made and living happily ever after without feeling like she has to "provide" for her kids via tv, reality or not.

This whole Jon and Kate thing renders me speechless. There is simply not enough space here to share my thoughts.
The children need to be numero uno in terms of their parent's priorities.
I wish for them a place of peace where responsibility reigns supreme.

Put the whole lot of them on a slow boat to China...sans cameras!
