Dotted all along our town's fresh water beach you will find these quaint and quirky holiday structures of years gone by. I feel so sad that some of them are crumbling. In fact, I think our local politicians should vote to make them protected 'heritage buildings'; easy to move, someone could lovingly restore them like these in Wisconsin. "Talk about a labor of love. The resurrection from near-collapse of this modest one-room cottage is a perfect example of such a labor. The last remnant of a 1920s Beardstown, Illinois, “cabin court” composed of multiple tiny frame houses just like it, it is a relic of an era when middle Americans vacationed by giddily road-trippin’ with their new automobiles." - Chicago Home + Garden. Go here and enjoy the interior styling and details of this beauty.

Correction about last post: sorry I thought the cabins were in Vermont! Wherever hey are, they're gorgeous!
Can Edward come too?
how cute is this? I mean, this just puts "big" to shame. If Edward is coming, then Georgie is too!

Wow. This is the first thing I've seen that has made me homesick since I've moved to Delaware. I am in love with these.
