Experiences instead of gifts. I see a shift in the way we honour Mom on Mother's Day. In the end, isn't it all about time together instead of 'stuff collected'? Mom and I spent this sunny Canadian afternoon filling our buckets (full of colour and design) at this greenhouse. And boy was it busy there! So nice to see a beehive of activity in 'my people'. Oh, and I got an adorable gift from Mom (hey, aren't I supposed to be the one buying the gifts?)...a baby succulent. More about that tomorrow.
