Winter Simmers

The view from here is pristine, sparkle lovely. Black green branches fluffed with pure white snow lilt against the blue egg sky background. From where I sit; warm, toasty furnace air swirling around my ankles and the dog's nose, I can imagine any world. Delight in many a story. Dream of friends near and far. The season makes me long for that perfect book and a pot of cozy goodness. This my friends, is the feeling of winter in Canada. I have much to share with you. It's all part of my Winter simmers. To be served up soon. xo

I love a pot simmering on a winter Sunday afternoon. Lovely photograph.

Lovely. What's weird is that I'm simmering a pot of chicken and dumplings and was reading my book "After many a summer dies the Swan" by Aldous Huxley. How decedent.

Love your blog.
