Canadian Prairie Christmas and The Northern Lights

Here are 2 facts: 1. On the Prairies, it is so flat that you can watch your dog run away for 3 weeks. 2. Many Christmas dishes are made with wheat. Seriously though, what a gorgeous part of my country. Primary industries include agriculture (wheat, barley, canola, brassica, oats), and cattle and sheep ranching. Also, natural resources such as tar sands (Fort McMurray, Alberta) and other forms of oil production can be found on the plains. Secondary industries consist of the refinement of oils and agriculture processing. It feeds us. It calms us. It takes care of us.
