Australia VIP, Akira Isogawa

Akira Isogawa is one of Australia's most innovative and celebrated designers. His collections have been shown at Australian Fashion Week since 1996 and Paris Fashion Week since 1998 and he is now recognised for his exquisite designs both in Australia and around the world.
In 1986 Akira moved from Kyoto in Japan to Sydney where he studied fashion design at the Sydney institute of Technology. He has since been honoured by the Australian Fashion industry on numerous occasions and, in 2007, was awarded the inaugural Australian Fashion Laureate Award. Akira's work has also been embraced by the Australian arts world. His designs have featured regularly in exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Powerhouse Museum, The Object Gallery and the National Gallery of Victoria. Drawing inspiration from contemporary Japanese design, Akira's fashions have been celebrated by influential fashion critics from The New York Times and US Vogue.

Ways to Influence People Online and Make Them Take Action
Influence can be defined as the power exerted over the minds and behavior of others. A power that can affect, persuade and cause changes to someone or something. In order to influence people, you first need to discover what is already influencing them. What makes them tick? What do they care about? We need some leverage to work with when we’re trying to change how people think and behave.
