Is it 'Cool' to Vote?

An estimated 59.1 per cent of Canadians cast votes in Tuesday's general election — a figure that appears to be a record low in the history of Confederation. After the ballots were counted, Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his Conservatives won a second consecutive minority government. Somehow we need to make voting 'cool' again. Any suggestions?

Hey lady! How are you?

I don't know much about the Canadian elections.....and what that prime minister is like...is he good??? How do you feel about him? I've done some volunteering out here in the U.S. to try to get OBAMA elected..just like many other supporters. Obama gear is EVERYWHERE, and its cool stuff..even the young kids who cannot vote think its cool to wear. I think VOTING should be pushed as being cool, if it gets young people to get involved and want to vote, i'm all FOR IT.

If you had a retard like Bush as Prime Minister, trust me, it would be cool to vote again.

The kids here are all over it. My daughter is 17 and is so upset that she can't vote in this election.

I'm assuming that you're disappointed in the outcome of your election?
