Outrage Isn't A Strong Enough Word My Friends

So my good friend Scout had her say and this is what free speech is all about, however, this (ad) is completely nauseating. Recently a man was murdered and decapitated on a Greyhound bus, it was later discovered the assailant had began eating the man's flesh. PETA is using this killing for an ad campaign and compares the murder to the slaughtering of animals. Be sure to read Scout's entire post. Her point of view is so concise. And Betty Sun? How can you support an organization that sinks to such depths to create a print ad? And Peta? How could you do it in the first place? So here is more hate mail for you.

I've really, really tried to like PETA. In theory, I agree with much of what they stand for - I don't want any animal to suffer either. But trying to capitalize on a murder and it's sensational details is below low. Apparently it's okay to create more suffering for a family that is already going through unimaginable pain. Duly noted. Boo to PETA.

Thanks for the shout out, Libby.

I read this yesterday in the Halifax paper. This is vile beyond measure...NOTHING compares to the horror that everyone involved in that nightmare suffered. Those PETA folks are reprehensible on this one...

Zealots scare me...
