Wouldn't it be so great to print off a cheerful photo and send the troops a 'Hello'. The next shipment leaves April 20th. They also need snacks and goodies sent with your good wishes!The photos are from the National Cherry Blossom Festival. (Sorry I missed the correct date to promote this...hopefully there are a few blooms left to enjoy) The festival annually commemorates the 1912 gift to the city of Washington of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to enhance the growing friendship between the United States and Japan and celebrate the continued close relationship between the two peoples.
