A treat for Mom. She has always had a massive affection for them. It is not uncommon to be driving down a country highway, and if she sees a 'bakery' sign, then of course I have to screech off the road to run in to see if they have Neapolitan Squares. So, now this small custard, sugar-laden indulgence is on my list of things I want to learn how to make. Anyone have a recipe?

OMG you are driving me crazy!!! I'm trying to stick to my never ending - always failing diet and I logged on to your blog to find post after post of delicious, beautiful, forbidden foods calling out to me. I am tempted to get on a plane right now and eat my way through Canada. Cut it out will ya? !!!!
I hear you. ughhh. In Canada we cheat on Thanksgiving and then diet until Dec. 20th. I've heard that Americans feel like they eat lots of goodies from your Nov. Thanksgiving right through to New Year's. It's soooo hard to resist. I need to get some discipline!
