Sunday Morning Beginning
I am documenting the time because I can't believe I slept in this late. I must have needed it. It's hot and hazy. I see the leaves are turning upside down which means a storm here in the beach. My kitchen ivy is soaking in what little sunbeams are poking in the window and I give it an itsy-bitsy drink. I squint my eyes and notice my son sitting on the computer, talking on the phone and listening to his ipod. 'How long is he going to be on my laptop' I think. Flick the coffee pot on, dark grains spill over the counter. Isn't that awful that I hope he gets offline soon? What shall I eat. Where's my camera. Can you believe the things that go through my brain the moment I wake up?

How old is he? Go to Best Buy and buy him a cheap computer of his own. It just gets worse. Mine is 16 and if we had to share, I'd kill her. I brought my laptop on the drive down to the beach (5 hours) and I have a verizon card for that kind of thing. Teen's mac won't take the card, so she asked to borrow my lap halfway there. I was silently seething the whole time!! Such a mean mom. Of course I didn't say a word, but inside the whole time, I was like "hurry!"
What beach do you live by?

Hi There! He is 12 going on 20 ha ha. I live in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. It is the longest fresh water beach in the world. Very busy beach. Millions of people come here from all over the world. It is lovely. Yes, tonight I was discussing getting his own computer, but if I didn't have such an addiction...I can't wait to read your posts this week. Right now as I type we are watching the meteor shower over our home. 60 meteors per hour. We have all of our wishes ready!
