Perhaps you've been there before. Maybe you've never been (yet), but you've researched all the top things to do. I'm heading there tomorrow. What should I do there?
Just don't go on the USA side. Niagra on the Lake is fabulous and the Wine Route amazing - Winston Churchill's favourite drive. I feel as though I am teaching my Grandmother to suck egss :)
The Maid of the Mist (the boat that goes near the falls) is an amazing experience. Just know that you will get wet, flimsy plastic covers and all. And I second Niagara on the Lake.
Thank you for all your suggestions. It was a lovely trip. We took a leisurely drive on the Niargara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake and saw all the wineries and amazing homes. The falls were amazing...live indie band concert in the park, fireworks, fudge, yummy ice cream - celebrated my youngest son's 14th Birthday there. Had so much fun. I say: Go there!
well, there is always a barrel...
ReplyDeleteLinda: Good one...ha ha ha
